Allen Meadows - Score: 93 (2018 October)

A distinctly ripe yet still attractively fresh nose combines notes of mostly white orchard fruit with background hints of quinine, petrol and sea breeze. There is excellent density to the relatively plush big-bodied yet refined flavors that offer excellent depth and persistence on the saline and unusually dry finish in the context of what is typical for the '09 vintage. For my taste this is now drinking as well as it's going to though with that said, it should have no trouble holding for another 5ish years, perhaps even a bit longer.
